E-Book – How to Screen Print from Home Cheaply and Make Money Too

Monday, January 4th, 2010

Attention! This e-book could quite possibly change your life.

If you’re serious about making your own t-shirts, then “How to Screen Print from Home Cheaply and Make Money Too!” will show you exactly how to do it… and for a lot less money than you think!

You can be a highly paid executive or just an average Joe (like me). Either way, it doesn’t matter. If you’re like me, you’re either A) Tired of paying a ridiculous amount of money for t-shirts you could print yourself, B) You’ve always wanted to make your own t-shirts, but just never knew how or C) Have all these “rad t-shirt” ideas in your head and you want to make some money selling them!

No experience necessary!

Making t-shirts for money is not a new idea, but the great thing about it is that it’s a huge market. A quick visit to your local mall or with a few Google searches you can easily see that t-shirt prices keep increasing. And the best thing about the designs are that some of them are so simple that literally anyone can make them! You just need the right equipment, supplies and knowledge.

Notice how I didn’t say expensive or huge warehouse in any of the above information? You can be successful and establish yourself and your services right in the comfort of your own home. No, this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. In fact, at first it’s a pretty slow process getting the feel for printing your own t-shirts.

You can set up your home-based screen-printing workshop in a few days! Well, that was a bit cheesy, but honestly, I had my work area setup in about three days.

This e-book is thorough and easy for you. Some how-to e-books are filled with useless filler. This e-book will give you the quickest route and best information on how to start-up your own home-based screen-printing workshop without investing much money into expensive equipment. Read on…

Screen Printing Tutorial

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

Here’s a cool how-to screen printing tutorial from Jane in South East Scotland who blogs over at Max and Molly Designs. She recently taught herself to screen print & is selling her greyhound-inspired creations on Etsy, in her shop The Dog House, as well as at local craft fairs & events.

Screen Printing Tutorial by Jane:

“This is the second in a series of three screen printing tutorials, in which I will describe the process I use to create the hand printed items for sale in my Etsyshop, The Dog House. Over the course of the tutorials I will show you how to use a photograph to create a screen printed product, using the example below…”

What you will need

  • a computer print out of the monochrome image which you wish to screen print
  • an embroidery hoop large enough to accommodate your monochrome image
  • fabric (non-water-soluble) glue
  • a pair of tights (nylons) – the tighter the weave, the more detailed the resulting print will be
  • a coloured pencil (in a colour that will show up on the tights you are using)
  • a cheap/old paint brush
